Buenos dias, Amigos!<\/p>\n

Our next blogpost had you waiting for quite some time.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

a) Because we’ve been robbed and have to find a way to write again.<\/p>\n

b) So many stupid and horrifying things have happened, that we did not want to write a blog article about it.<\/p>\n

c) There’s so mich to see, we didn’t find the time.<\/p>\n

The answer is: a) and b).<\/p>\n

No, of course the answer is c). Mexico is beautiful and we are surprised how much there is to see.<\/p>\n

We’ve been told, mexico is dangerous, even in the south. We shouldn’t walk the streets after it’s dark. We should better stay in Cancun.
\n2 weeks only for Cancun would’ve been much.<\/p>\n

But the panic-mongering in Germany has proven to be untrue to us. We don’t feel particularly unsafe (well maybe a little bit because of the streetdoggangs). On the contrary, we only found a lot of very helpful and nice people.<\/p>\n

So 2 weeks for the Yukatan peninsular is unfortunately not much. We could’ve even travelled to Belize, but there is just not enough time. <\/p>\n

But there is a reason for everything, and we will see if it was in vain, to have more time for the other countries.<\/p>\n

Now back to the story, the last time you’ve heard from us, we were in Tulum for 4 nights.<\/p>\n

The beaches in Tulum, were just like in Cancun astonishingly beautiful. At the moment we have algae season, but that isn’t a problem, we can just step over them \ud83d\ude09
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

To save us from the burning sun, we got a coconut at the beach bar to use their shade.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

After that there was some hiking where we could watch local birds and Pelicans. Nothing wrong with that \ud83d\ude09
\n\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

To finish off the day we ate some fine Pollo (chicken) at El Pollo Bronco, of course somewhere where the locals eat. With Guacamole <3\n\n\"\"<\/p>\n

The day after that we got the see the famous Maya ruins. Unbelievable, what they constructed. Still standing high since the 13th hundreds.<\/p>\n

\nThere were also enough animals to watch again.<\/p>\n

The rest of the day were filled with beach walks and climbing palm trees \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

At the end of the day, we has some awesome food at Sabor the Mar, looks expensive, but it wasn’t.

For the perfect end of our trip to Tulum, we snorkeled with turtles and fishes. It was our first time snorkeling and although the water was murky, it was awesome.
