We’ve had some time to recap our trip to Ireland now and I can almost walk normally again (more about that later \ud83d\ude09 )<\/p>\n

For everyone who wants to visit Ireland, below a couple of activities we also tried.<\/p>\n

We stayed in Dublin after our hike on the Kerry way. So what else is there to do besides visiting pubs and eating?<\/p>\n

Cliffs of Moher<\/h2>\n

Some of you may have already heard of the Cliffs of Moher. At the southwest coast of Ireland, with 120m-214m in height, they are quite imposing cliffs. Needless to say, this\u00a0is why they are so famous.\u00a0We took a bus tour with wild rover tours, where they took us on a daytrip to the Cliffs, Atlantic Edge Walk and to the city of Galway<\/p>\n

I can recommend all three and in Galway I can also recommend a good physiotherapist, who took care of my foot after I sprained my ankle at the cliffs of Moher.<\/p>\n

Teeling Distillerie<\/h2>\n

When thinking of Ireland, most people also think of irish Whiskey (at least we do). We first wanted to visit the\u00a0Old Jameson Distillery,\u00a0but have\u00a0then decided for the Teeling Distillery, since\u00a0they\u00a0themselves are really\u00a0distilling\u00a0in Dublin. The tour was diverting and\u00a0they told\u00a0very interesting facts, although I won’t spoil you as a potential visitor.\u00a0The slogan: the Spirit of Dublin can be found everywhere, since Teeling has reopened the first Distillery in 2015, after the last one closed in 1976. Due to many factors there hasn’t been any Distillery in the meantime. Because of that I think the Teeling Distillery is something special and worth a visit.<\/p>\n

After the tour we had a very good tasting. Depending on which tasting you want you can spend either 15\u20ac, 20\u20ac or 30\u20ac (including the tour).<\/p>\n
